Because of the recognized competence in the field of the use suitability and consumer kindness the allocated assessments by the European association durably sealed roof - ddD e.V. registered association considerable meaning for consumers and the public - durably.
The products are insulations in the direct quality comparison - been checked and judged in the context of the research plan 2008 - 116 sealings in comparativ quality test. The test jigs, the test results and the assessments were published in the new reference book of Wolfgang ERNST (2009).

With the new ddD quality label for sealings durability and sustainability get measurable and comparable. The advantage of the quality label lies in the transparency for customers, planners and manufacturers.
The award of the quality label is found out with the results of 14 practice oriented examinations:
- Test 01 - Flexibility  - ERNST,(1999)
- Test 02 - Puncture resistance - ERNST, (1999)
- Test 03 - Action on cigarrette heat - EN 1399
- Test 04 - Resistance against brazing breads - ERNST (1999)
- Test 05 - Thermal aging - EN 1296
- Test 06 - Hydrolysis resistance - ERNST (1999)
- Test 07 - Storage in hot water - EN 1847
- Test 08 - Storage in limewash - EN 1847
- Test 09 - Storage in acid solution - EN 1847
- Test 10 - Coating with grease - ERNST (1999)
- Test 11 - Low temperature folding - EN 495-5
- Test 12 - Cold contraktion - ERNST (1999)
- Test 13 - Resistance against microorganisms - EN ISO 846
- Test 14 - Fish test - OECD
The individual test results are summarized to a total evaluation. 1.200 points can be reached at most. This one reaches receivedly the assessment rehearse, more than 90% of the points "very well"; more than 80% the assessment "good". These products get a ddD quality label on application and are taken and published into the list of the "recommendable products".
